Welcome to our brand new snow forecast system which has been specially developed for winter. When a variable meets requirements that may be supportive of snowfall the colour for the variables will go blue. If any temperature variables are coloured a deeper blue for example; T850 temps, temperature, dew point or surface temps, this means that particular variable is supportive of snow. To make things easier we have highlighted the precipitation type so the system will tell you if it will be rain, sleet or snow falling from the sky for any particular location. Our system uses 3km resolution data out to 48 hours. Click here to access the 10km five day version of this system. Please note, the system may say snow is supportive but you need precipitation at that time to see some.

All temperature values are measured in ºc, snow depth is measured in cm and precipitation is measured in mm.
